What Would You Do If You Lost a Listing? Here Is What I Did.
Sandra Alonso asks the question every South Florida Realtor faces — and answers it honestly with the story of what she actually did the day after losing a listing she worked days to prepare for.

Here is a question I have been thinking about lately.
If you spent days preparing for something important — something you genuinely cared about and believed in — and then it was taken away in a two minute phone call, what would you do next?
A few weeks ago that happened to me.
I had built a complete listing presentation for a home in South Florida. Market analysis. Net proceeds sheet. Marketing plan. Everything. And then the seller called to say they were going with another agent. The appointment was cancelled. The next day I drove past the property and the other agent's sign was already in the yard.
So what did I do?
I went home and mailed seventeen letters to expired listing sellers. I made calls. I wrote articles. I filmed a video. I showed up the next day and kept building — not because the disappointment had passed but because the work does not wait for feelings to catch up.
I am sharing this because I think the answer to that question — what you do after a hard day — says more about who you are than anything you do on the easy days.
I wrote the full story on my website this week. If you are thinking about working with a South Florida Realtor and you want to know who you are actually dealing with — not just their credentials but their character — I hope you will read it.
